This beautiful Field Notes Book Kit has everything you need to get started both in and out of the Field Notes Workshop classroom. This kit was created to stand alone or work hand and hand with my Field Notes Workshop. Each kit will differ slightly. (Book covers, ribbons, butterflies, flosses and postcards will all vary. I cannot accommodate requests for specific colors at this time.)

KIT CONTENTS:

• One Deconstructed book cover with reinforced spine

• One set of vintage floral end papers ready to cut to size

• One barrel style clothespin, pre-stained and pre-stamped

• 1.5 yards of waxed linen thread

• 10 pieces of recycled fiber paper for botanical pressing, stitching and sketching

• Two blank book folios

• One set of blank book pocket pieces

• Six sheets of 6 × 9 inch white sketch paper (you can use these for book pages)

• Six sheets of 6 × 9 inch coffee stained drawing paper (you can use these for book pages)

• Four sheets of 6 × 8 inch unbleached parchment paper (you can use these for pressing collected field specimens and protecting sketches and paintings in your book)

• Four sheets of 4 × 6 inch kraft card stock (you can use these for field sketches)

• One vintage style botanical postcard (great for blind contour study pieces)

• A single yard length of 2.5 inch wide Cotton Muslin fabric for stitching book wrap

• One 5.5 × 11 inch piece of pre-stiffened Osnaburg fabric for stitching artisan patches

• A single yard length of un-dyed Rayon for ribbon dyeing

• Two assorted colors, one yard each, of embroidery floss wrapped on clothespins

• Four short scrap lengths of ribbon for page toppers

• One adhesive library card and pocket (pairs with the free Field Notes Location Card download in the workshop classroom or with the “Field Note Cards Collection” which is available as a separate purchase in my shop)

• Two 4 × 6.25 inch glassine envelopes (wonderful for protecting and storing collected field samples)

• One sheet of eight card stock butterflies (to make your bookmarks)

• Two 1.5 inch strips of black card stock (to make your bookmarks)

• One stained tea bag book plate (pre-typed - Field Notes - an Artist’s Interpretation of Botanicals)

• One watercolor paint palette which includes eight 5 ml pans of paint in a black tin box, plus a mini printed swatch of included paint colors
